Nigel Bosch received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame in 2017 and was a postdoctoral researcher for two years at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. He is an Associate Professor in the School of Information Sciences and the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. His research focuses on machine learning and human–computer interaction, especially in education and addiction science contexts, and has been supported by grants from NSF, IES, NIH, and others.
