Jessie Chin is an associate professor of information sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Chin’s work leverages cognitive sciences and AI to develop intelligent systems to support complex information behavior, including learning, information search, and self-management. Chin is also the director of the Adaptive Cognition and Interaction Design Lab and a part-time faculty of the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology. Chin’s research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.
