Kate Donahue is a METEOR postdoc at MIT, working with Manish Raghavan, and a member of the AI for Society working group. Starting in summer 2026, she will be an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She works on algorithmic problems relating to the societal impact of AI, including fairness, human/AI collaboration, and game-theoretic models of federated and collaborative learning. She completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Cornell, advised by Jon Kleinberg. She has been selected as a “Rising Star in EECS” and her PhD research was supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
